I did new homemade gelatin silver emulsion based on Osterman’s 1880 Gelatin Bromide Emulsion- in comparison whit emulsion that I have been doing, this formula has IK in order to increase the ISO to 5-10, and 4 ml of a 5% solution chrome alum added to make the emulsion set to a stronger film to withstand processing, alcohol to aid in coating and thymol, to prevent bacteria growth.

But, by terrible mistake, I understood 4 gr K instead of 0.4 gr of formula! :-)

I got an ISO 50! This is one of the first glasses I do with the emulsion: I got a glass filled with defects.
